Travel30A.com strives to provide the most complete listing on the web of

Bike, Kayak, and Beach Rentals, Fitness Centers and Spas, or WiFi Hot Spots.
Deer Lake State Park, located between Seagrove Beach and Watersound Beach on 30A, is named for the coastal dune lake that the park surrounds. There is no better place on 30A to admire the white sand dunes ecosystem and the wildlife that calls this area home. Bring your binoculars and search for local fauna in the sand dunes. A level boardwalk meanders across the dunes offering easy access to the beach where visitors picnic, swim, and fish on this uncrowded portion of the beach. Be sure to stay for the beautiful sunsets over the dunes with the gulf in the distance.
Water activities abound along 30A and throughout the Beaches of South Walton. Several local establishments rent kayaks to explore the many coastal dune lakes of the 30A area. Canoes may be rented for a reasonable price at Grayton Beach State Park for exploring Western Lake. Be on the lookout for shore birds stopping for a rest on their way north or south. On calm days in the gulf, you will see ocean kayaks in the clear, turquoise waters. When the waters aren't so calm, surfers can be seen along many 30A beaches trying to catch a wave.
Biking the beach communitites of 30A is a pleasure, thanks to the 18 mile 30A bike trail. This paved path is separated from the roadway and runs the full length of 30A from Dune Allen Beach to Rosemary Beach. Several extensions off the main path also exist and are ready to be explored. Mountain bikers will be happy to hear of the miles of trail through Point Washington State Forest. Never crowded, these sandy trails offers lots of terrain to explore. Bikes can be rented at any of the local rental shops or bring your own to explore the 30A bike path and trails.
