Even the cloudy, hazy days are beautiful on 30A. This photo was taken on Eastern Lake in Seagrove Beach, heading towards the gulf.

After having lunch at Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin yesterday, I snapped this photo of a gas lamp in front of the Le Jardin neighborhood. The whole area is a great place for a stroll.

While dropping a letter a the Seaside post office, I heard that the Shrimp Shack across the street had just opened. And I was lucky enough to have a camera with me. In the former Roly Poly Sandwich location, the Shrimp Shack offers steamed seafood. From their menu…
“Welcome to The Shrimp Shack. We offer fast, friendly and efficient service while providing our customers with the freshest ingredients and seafood around. Place your order at the front counter, then choose between the porch, deck or when available … beachside pavilion seating. We hope you enjoy your dining experience with us!”
Congrats to Bill and Heavenly Dawson on their grand opening!

After a visit to St. Andrews State Park in Panama City Beach, I came home with an amazing assortment of shells. What a beautiful park and fun day trip from 30A.

A beautiful day kayaking at Camp Helen State Park on Lake Powell. These are the sand dunes right before you get to the beach.

I came across the bright Green Anole near the Baithouse Restaurant in Watercolor while biking. The first I’ve seen on 30A. The stripe on the back identifies her as a female. There were a bunch of lizards in the area, but this lady was the only lime green one. As I was snapping the photo, a small dragon fly flew by and became her tasty snack. Talk about being in the right place at the right time!
