During an early afternoon stroll, I came across this lonely seagull floating in the calm waters off Seaside. The color of the water is a gorgeous, turquoise blue.

Not a 30A photo, but I had to make a trip to Walmart in Destin. I always stop at Henderson Beach State Park, located just across the road, before heading home. Not a soul on the beach this chilly morning in January.

Over 1/2 an hour after the sunset. Taken two nights ago from Dune Allen beach.

Mike from 30a.com was nice enough to share this photo of a Bald Eagle in his Santa Rosa Beach backyard. After flying over the bay, the eagle landed in the pine tree to scope out breakfast.

What a surprise to see a huge crane heading down the beach today. It’s headed Eastbound towards Blue Mountain Beach.
